At BeepBeepZoom.com we want your child's pedal car, pedal truck, pedal plane, pedal tractor, tricycle, bike or scooter experience to be as safe and memorable as possible. Although all vehicles are US Certified Child Safe, there are a few additional tips we would like to pass along:
  • Pedal Vehicles Do Not Have Brakes.
Remember that pedal cars, pedal trucks, pedal planes, pedal tractors, pedal go carts, tricycles, bikes and scooters are propelled and slowed by the force of your child's legs and that pedal cars, pedal trucks, pedal planes, pedal tractors, pedal go carts, tricycles, bikes and scooters may not have brakes. Use extreme caution when using pedal toys, and if possible, do not use pedal cars, pedal trucks, pedal planes, pedal tractors, pedal go carts, tricycles, bikes or scooters on hills or ramps or around swimming pools, ponds, ditches or other sources of water.

  • Pedal Vehicles Are Very Low To The Ground.
Pedal cars, pedal trucks, pedal planes, pedal tractors, pedal go carts, tricycles, bikes, and scooters are very low to the ground, and therefore, may be difficult for adult drivers to see. Only allow your child to use his/her pedal car, pedal truck, pedal plane, pedal tractor, pedal go cart, tricycle, bike, or scooter under close adult supervision and do not use pedal cars, pedal trucks, pedal planes, pedal tractors, pedal go carts, tricycles, bikes or scooters in high traffic areas.

  • Pedal Vehicles Have Open Underbodies And Have Exposed Pedal Mechanisms.
Pedal cars, pedal trucks, pedal planes, pedal tractors, pedal go carts, tricycles and bikes have open underbodies. It is imperitive that you do not allow your child to operate his/her vehicle without appropriate footware. Furthermore, always make sure your child’s shoes are securely tied prior to operating his/her pedal car, pedal plane, pedal truck, pedal tractor, pedal go cart, tricycle, bike or scooter. Also, do not allow your child to wear loose clothing while operating any pedal vehicle. Loose clothing can become entangled in the pedal mechanism and cause injury. Scarves pose an especially great hazzard.

  • Never Push Or Allow Atother to Push A Child In A Pedal Car
Pedal cars, pedal trucks, pedal planes, pedal tractors, pedal go carts, tricycles and bikes are child propelled. Do not push or allow another to push the pedal vehicle while a child is inside. Remember the faster the vehicle is moving the faster the child’s legs must move to keep up with the pedals.

  • Use Your Best Judgment And Common Sense At All Times.
This will help to make your child's pedal car, pedal truck, pedal plane, pedal tractor, pedal go cart, tricycle, bike or scooter experience the safest and most enjoyable.

Now that we have shared a few safety tips we hope you and your child are ready to share many magical adventures and create memories that last a lifetime. If you have any additional tips you would like to share please send them to us at support@beepbeepzoom.com

THANK YOU and ENJOY!!!
